Fiesta madness!

Day 41...Tonight I am going to a fiesta to celebrate the end of our work deadline and chose to dress the part...Donning my green Mexican dress and shoes to match:

These are from Zara and are made of wood I think. I bought them in Mexico about...EIGHT YEARS AGO! Oh my goodness...I have a confession to make...in the form of a third photo to post.

At the front of both shoes, the wood has SPLIT OFF! I thought it was unnoticeable at first (see left shoe) but then the other shoe has gotten pretty bad. I love these because they're cute and summery with the white linen and have great details with the red patent trim and buckle. They have a very low and light heel so they can be comfortable all day and night. I will, however, leave the final vote to my avid viewers.

Gone fishin'.

Mornin'! I'm out of town today and will resume posting tomorrow. I treated myself by taking the next couple days off so I will post more "weekend shoes" for your viewing entertainment starting tomorrow. I encourage everyone to take some time around the holiday to rest and rejuvenate... Do some spring cleaning... Or shopping! I plan to do some cleaning myself and get ready to move into my condo next week!! Should that be the next topic as I seem to be nearing the end of the shoes?? That will be the vote today. Or if u have any other topics or challenges for me, feel free to leave a comment.

Happy hump day!!

I need a tan.

Day 40...I am in desperate need of a tan. The sun has started shining and temperatures are rising, yet I'm stuck in the office sans sun. I'll wear my last pair of tan heels.
These are Seychelles, a wonderful brand focusing on comfort and class. I think I ordered them from some site like Zappos. I like tan heels because they elongate the leg. I am quite short, so it helps! The heel is quaint and high and the toe is round. When I wear these with dresses I feel ultra feminine.

Wedged.

Day 39...Happy Monday! Do those two words even go together...I had an eventful morning of taking my car to the collision center (don't ask) only after waking up late and then squeezing in a coffee run and barely making it "on time" to work...
I bought these in Italy over Christmas. They are a black (maybe patent?) covered wedge. UBER comfortable. Worn with my favorite black trousers, grey tee, and purple cowl neck sweater.

The Doctor is In.

Day 38...Dr. Scholl's rescue your feet. My mom and I took a trip to New York last summer and happened upon a store that carried not your average Dr. Scholl's clogs.

Tiffany will laugh to see these post because I will literally put them on at the bat of an eye lash. I wear them out on the weekends, or lounging around on a Saturday, or to church on a Sunday! Dr. Scholl's are even displayed among the drugstore items in Europe! Some may think he only invented shoe inserts, but it surely started with shoes.
