G'day Mate

Day 47...This is a sort of special edition post as I have been living in these during my condo remodel (after changing out of my cuter shoes to protect them :)). I know a few people who have been DYING for me to post these...

I fetched these Crocs at Whole Earth Provision as well and love them since they are a Mary Jane style and stay on my feet better than the usual Crocs. Say what you will, but I find these are a closet essential.

Sparkle Shoes

Day 46...I can't believe the week is over! I've been doing massive work on my condo and, while I'm excited about all the progress we've made so far, I wish there were a couple more days left to this week!!

I have to admit, upon donning this pair today, I was semi-reminiscent of the 80s...Everything worn with lots of colors and something shiny...They were purchased from DSW super clearance rack and could be the most comfortable ballet flats, which is why they have stayed in the closet so long. Enough about me, I'll let you be the judge.

Step Softly

Day 45. Happy hump day!! I put these babies on for comfort and ease on a day of rolling up my sleeves and getting to work.

I bought these at Whole Earth Provision about a year ago. They are my recycled shoes...meaning the soles are made of recycle tires!!! The Mary Jane style suited me more than the ballet style and there's a button closure to boot.

Light as a dream.

Day 44. While I'm not at work, it IS the work week, I decided to continue the count.

I am not even going to say where I bought these. You can guess for yourself. This shoe is by Charles David with snakeskin criss-cross over the toe and a hollow hole! The shoe is SO lightweight it's a dream. I have on a classic pair of Gap jeans (no joke!) and an aqua blue blouse from Banana Republic.

Special Edition Posting!

I just wanted to show you my break through. What is it you ask? I broke through the temptation to sport my favorite dark (vamp?) shades of polish (Lincoln Park After Dark, Susie Says Da, Russian Navy) and wear something more springy for Easter. All three of my nephews noticed, so that's something right? :)

Fierce Buckles.

Day 43...
My blog is up and running again (thank you my dear cousin for notifying the viewers of the issue this morning)...
These shoes are from (guess it...) DSW! They are Jessica Simpson brand. Black shiny leather, buckles at the toe and ankle. I have to admit they are definitely more for a shorter day, as they start to get uncomfortable in the early afternoon...I was drawn to them because of the buckles. Any shoe with embellishments end up in my closet, as evidenced by the many I have shown to you :)

the monday blues.

Day 43...Alas, what a way to begin a week. My site is having technical difficulties and will hopefully be functioning by afternoon. In the meantime, what are your thoughts on making the next set of entries about accessories?

It is a very windy day as the weather does fickle things today. This post on Jak & Jil seems very appropriate... http://jakandjil.com/blog/. Have a productive morning!

Easter Parade

Day 42...Happy Easter! I wore these wedges today with my Easter dress. My sister and I don't go for bows, bonnets, or frills on Easter, just something simple and new to celebrate the occasion.

I bought these wedges at Lilly last Spring. Wedges are so comfortable and I think these have just the right amount of bling on them too. Worn with long jersey dress from Target and an orange/yellow shawl sweater from Anthropologie. My nephew in church today said "that is a tiny jacket you have on!" Boys are hilarious!
